Here We Go Again!

Oh yeh it’s gonna be one of those days!

Cold and windy and my son wants to continue car shopping… I don’t want to walk around the lot today.

One of the tires on my car has a slow leak so I have to get it fixed and that could take hrs of waiting for my turn

And just to make it more interesting my husband volunteered us to babysit a 4 wk old kitten that lost its mama. She is adorable but has to be watched every minute cause she is into everything and I dread it if my other cats or dogs “discover” her. It could be total chaos.

Oh yeh it’s gonna be one of those days……………………

My Dog Passed Away Today

It’s been a really rough few months for us and our pets. 3 months ago we lost one of our
cats to cancer and today my beloved dog Sandy passed away from congestive heart failure.

Our vet explained that her breed (mixed) usually only lives to a little over 10 yrs old.
Sandy was almost 14

She had an enlarged heart and had been on heart medication for the last year. She was able
to run, jump and play like a puppy. It was a joy to see.
There were no warning signs of her heart giving out. In reality she died of old age.

She will be missed and always remembered

Good Grief

I have been so darn busy I forgot to blog for over a week!

Since it is difficult for me to work outside the home I have been busy finding new things to market from my house.

I now carry 3 product line

Watkins, Fuller Brush and now

Pluging Away!

Things are going slowly, but my daughter is starting to get a few more local design jobs.

I am trying to help her by offering her design services on a few online sites that I sell on.

I am so hoping that things take off for her because she wants to start her family and would like to be able to work from home when she has kids.

She works a full time job and does design work from home after work and on her weekends.

She has decided to go back to school and take some courses in web design. At this point in time she is schooled almost exclusively in print design and feels she needs to expand her knowledge.

A New Year and A New Outlook

So the new year is finally here.

Time to kick myself in the butt and get it together.

I have always been a positive person but the end of 2007 was trying

2008 will be better. I am going to recapture the attitude that has always seen me through the hard times. I simply say to myself…. it can only get better
